I'm Jerry's original fan-girl. I still remember the first seminar that I went to - I didn't know who Jerry was but after that session I just knew I wanted to learn everything I could from him and wanted to be a photographer like him. Who KNEW I'd end up marrying him one day!! Well, this week's episode is extra special because this fan-girl got to be photographed by Jerry during a photowalk and that's always a treat for me. This photowalk takes place in Budapest, Hungary and is a great lesson on doing a session using window light as well as natural light in a courtyard. The courtyard portion is interesting because although Jerry is using natural sunlight, it's a challenging situation because the light is coming from directly above, since the courtyards were surrounded by 4 walls. This is a similar to the situation you would be in if you were photographing on a city street when you are surrounded by tall buildings. So notice what poses Jerry uses in that situation. We also get a lot of question of how to pose someone on stairs - especially how to pose their legs. So Jerry wraps up this session with several poses on the stairs of this building to give you plenty of ideas. Enjoy!
